How much water should you drink?
A simple daily water target based on your weight, with a little extra for hot days and exercise.
1.9 to 2.3litres a day
That is about 8 to 9 glasses of 250 ml. Buttermilk, nimbu pani without sugar, and soups count too.
Good to know
A common guide is 30 to 35 ml of water for every kilogram of body weight.
If you have heart or kidney problems, follow your doctor's advice on fluids.
