Your trust matters. This page explains, in plain words, what personal data we collect, why we collect it and the choices you have.

Who we are
Nutrition with Richa is the nutrition practice of Richa Agarwal. For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act), we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data you share with us.
What we collect
- Enquiry details: your name, city and country, email, phone or WhatsApp number, the service you are interested in and your message.
- Free guide requests: your name, email, optional WhatsApp number and your choices about updates.
- Consultation details: food habits, routine, goals and any health information or reports you choose to share once your consultation is confirmed.
- Payment records: the amount, date and payment reference. We do not store card or bank login details.
- Basic website data: pages visited and device type, if analytics are switched on.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and book your consultation.
- To prepare and deliver your nutrition guidance.
- To send the guide you asked for.
- To send tips and updates by email or WhatsApp, only if you ticked that option.
- To keep records required by law, such as tax records.
Consent
We collect personal data with your consent, given through a clear tick box or by sending us your details. Consent for the guide, for email updates and for WhatsApp updates is asked separately. None of the optional boxes is ticked for you.
You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us or by using the unsubscribe link in any email. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. It does not affect anything done before you withdrew.
Eva, the website assistant
Eva is an automated assistant, not Richa. When you use it, your questions and recent conversation are sent to the website’s AI service to generate a reply. Please do not enter medical reports, identity documents or other sensitive information.
Voice is optional and starts only when you choose Talk with Eva and allow microphone access. Your browser’s speech service may process audio online to turn it into text; the recognized question is then sent to Eva. Replies are read aloud using your device or browser’s available voices. This website does not record or store the audio. You can stop voice at any time, and leaving the conversation stops it.
The browser stores a random visitor identifier and a daily question count so the assistant can apply usage limits. These are functional settings, not advertising profiles. Eva provides general information and does not diagnose conditions or replace medical care.
Health information
Please do not send medical reports through the website forms. Once your consultation is confirmed, Richa will tell you how to share them privately. Health information is used only to plan your nutrition guidance and is never used for advertising.
Children
Consultations about a child are arranged with a parent or guardian, who gives consent for the child's data. We do not knowingly collect data directly from anyone under 18, and we do not track children or direct advertising at them.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the practice, such as hosting, data storage, AI assistance, email, calendar, video call, form and payment tools, and only as far as they need it to do their job. We may disclose data where the law requires it.
Some of these providers may store data on servers outside India. We use reputable providers and share only what is needed.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a consultation are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as you are a client and for up to three years after your last consultation, unless the law requires a longer period. Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including password protected accounts and limited access, to protect your data. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and how it is used.
- Ask us to correct, complete or update it.
- Ask us to erase it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw your consent.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you are unable to.
- Raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.
Grievances
To use any of these rights or to raise a concern, write to Richa Agarwal at [email protected]. We aim to reply within seven working days.
Cookies
This website works without advertising cookies. Essential browser storage supports Eva’s usage limits. If we add analytics, we will use it only to understand which pages are useful, and we will update this page.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
